Streetwise is an Autobot with the role of Interceptor who is very clever and able to adapt quite easily to different environments. He is one of the five Protectobots (along with the other four Protectobots: First Aid, Blades, Groove and Hot Spot) that combine to form the Super Warrior Defensor acting as a leg or arm. The Protectobots are named so because they each transform into Emergency vehicles, in this case the alternate mode for Streetwise is a police car.

The Generation 1 Streetwise was available individually in 1986 and was also available in the Defensor gift set during the same year.
