Beachcomber is an Autobot with the role of Geologist who transforms between his robot mode and his dune buggy mode.  He is one of the Minibots, named so because of the small size of the Transformers belonging to this group.  Beachcomber very much dislikes war and would rather spend his time relaxing in a quiet desert some where than be out fighting.  Although if he is called on to participate in a battle, he will comply (according to his Tech Spec).

The Generation 1 Beachcomber was released in 1985.
