Catilla is an Autobot with the role of Surveillance who transforms between his robot mode and his tiger-like creature mode. He belongs to the group called Pretenders because he (as well as the other Autobot Pretenders) disguises his robot form inside a shell resembling an Earth being, in this case a sabre-tooth tiger shell. Catilla silently stalks his victims like a feline pretador before using his steel fangs and claws to strike and attack them.

The Generation 1 Catilla was released in 1988.
