Superion is an Autobot with the function of Air Warrior.  He is formed by the combination of the five Transformers who belong to the group named Aerialbots:  Silverbolt, Air Raid, Fireflight, Skydive and Slingshot.  As a “fierce and frightful fighting machine” (according to his Tech Spec), Superion has only one thought on his mind and that is to destroy the Decepticons.

The Generation 1 Aerialbots were released individually in 1986.  They were also available in the Superion gift set during the same year.
