Wheeljack is an Autobot with the role of Tactical Diversion. He lives by the motto "Never do what your enemy expects you to do!" (according to his Tech Spec). He belongs to the group called Actionmasters which are based on both existing and new Transformers characters. The Actionmasters do not transform, but their weapons or vehicles do. In this case Wheeljack's "Turbo Racer" (which he built himself) transforms into a jet with missile launcher.

The Generation 1 Wheeljack was released in 1990.
