Prowl is an Autobot with the role of Military Strategist. He is well suited to this job as he thinks logically and is able to process large amounts of information very quickly (according to his Tech Spec). Prowl belongs to the group called Actionmasters which are based on both existing and new Transformers characters. The Actionmasters do not transform, but their weapons or vehicles do. In this case Prowl's "Turbo cycle" transforms into a battle platform.

The Generation 1 Prowl was released in 1990.
