Sunstreaker is an Autobot with the function of Warrior.  He has a very high opinion of himself and thinks he is the most “beautiful thing on Earth” (according to his Tech Spec) when he transforms between robot mode and car mode (Lamborghini Countach).  When it comes time to battle he is a competent and ruthless killing machine.  Sunstreaker also has a twin brother named Sideswipe who transforms into the same type of vehicle (but is red).

The Generation 1 Sunstreaker was released in 1984 without a rub symbol.  From 1985 onwards he was available with the rub symbol.
