Fixit is an Autobot who transforms between his robot mode and his ambulance mode. He belongs to a group called the Micromasters who are split up into different types of Patrols (four Transformers in each patrol), Fixit belonging to the Rescue Patrol (along with Red Hot, Seawatch and Stakeout). This team, whose role is Search and Rescue, has all the necessary tools to give aid in the worst emergency situation. Fixit is equipped with a repair bay and life-function monitors (according to their Tech Spec).

The Generation 1 Fixit was released in a pack of four along with Red Hot, Seawatch and Stakeout (all Generation 1 as well) in 1989.
